History of April fool

On the last April first my closest friend call me and said that he is taking all the friends to the Dubai. At the first I said don’t do the joke but he says he is serious and give me the time to reach the air port sharp at 9pm. When I go to air port there was no friend and I call back the same friend where are you he said O buddy April fool. This day is celebrated on the first of April. The history of this day is quite strange the first reference given by in the history of first April and with foolishness can be found in a tale story of Chaucer’s Canterbury tales of 1392. Another reference is found in poisson d’ avril means April fool was written in the poem of Eloy d’ Amerval. In 1539 wrote a foolish letter to the noble man who took it seriously and sent his servant to him on the first of April. Some say it has connection with the new year as it was celebrated on the 25 march and there was week holiday on new year which usually last on the 1 April but in 16^th century the new year was started to celebrate on the 1^st January and these people relate the fast April as day of foolish person. It is consider as the most authenticated reference. So it is since then celebrated as the day of fool or April fool.
